Performance Guarantee
ChargEx guarantees your battery will retain at least the specified capacity throughout the warranty period. If your battery falls below the guaranteed capacity, we'll repair or replace it at no cost.
Year 1-3: 100% Capacity
Your battery will maintain full specified capacity.
Year 4-5: 90% Capacity
Minimum 90% of original capacity guaranteed.
Year 6-10: 80% Capacity
Extended plans guarantee 80% capacity (Extended/Lifetime plans).
How Our Warranty Process Works

Diagnostic Evaluation
Our technical team will evaluate your case and determine if it falls under warranty coverage.
Return Authorization
If approved, we'll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and shipping label.
Repair or Replacement
We'll repair or replace your battery within 5-10 business days of receiving it.
Return Shipment
Your repaired or replacement battery will be returned to you with tracking information.
Warranty FAQs
Does my warranty cover physical damage?
No, physical damage from drops, impacts, or accidents is not covered. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and normal degradation only.
Can I transfer my warranty to another owner?
Standard warranties are non-transferable. However, registered owners can transfer Extended and Lifetime warranties with written approval from ChargEx.
What if my battery fails after the warranty expires?
We offer paid repair and refurbishment services. Contact our support team for a quote on out-of-warranty repairs.
Do I need to register my battery for warranty coverage?
Registration is not required for standard coverage, but registering your battery enables Smart Battery Warranty features and ensures we have your contact information.
How do I register my battery?
Visit chargex.com/register and enter your battery serial number. You'll receive a warranty certificate and be able to access the mobile monitoring app.
What happens if I misuse my battery?
Intentional misuse voids the warranty. This includes exposing the battery to extreme temperatures, physical damage, improper storage, or using unauthorized chargers.
